Cape Cod Energy Solutions LLC is a Home Performance Contractor who works with Mass Save to perform weatherization and home energy audits for Massachusetts residents. Crew Chief

Responsible for overseeing aspects of installation of weatherization, insulation, and air sealing services, including, but not limited to, scheduling, employee management, equipment and material acquisition, and making sure the job is completed in a timely and quality manner.

Requirements

  • Valid Lead Safe Renovator Supervisor Certificate
  • Boot Camp: Chew Chief Field Certificate
  • DOE Weatherization Crew Chief Certificate
  • Two years experience doing repair, service, or installation of weatherization services
  • One year experience foreman or construction manager
  • Must pass 5 panel drug screening

Crew Member

Responsible for completing installation of weatherization, insulation, and air sealing work to the specifics required by each job. Assist auditors with performing home energy assessmentsReports to crew chiefs and auditors as well as office staff.

  • BPI Residential Building Envelope Whole House Air Leakage Control Installer Certificate
  • Boot Came: Crew Member Training
  • Any other BPI, DOE, or WAP weatherization training
  • One year experience doing repair, service, or installation of weatherization services
  • Must pass 5 panel drug screening

Auditors/Energy Specialists

Responsible for conducting home energy assessments in residential buildings and identifying which aspects of the home are eligible for energy efficiency upgrades. Walks the homeowner through the home energy audit process, the audit results, and how homeowner should proceed. Understands Mass Save’s many energy efficiency and savings programs.

  • Valid BPI Building Analyst Certificate
  • Three years experience in the construction industries
  • Must pass 5 panel drug screening
